Our Story
Musical Memories was founded in 1998 by Howard Rockwin, bassoonist and former high school Band Director for thirty-five years.
After photographing a children’s concert at Carnegie Hall, requests for copies highlighted how much parents value photos of their children performing at Honor Concerts. Word of mouth quickly spread from New York, and today Howard and his staff capture concerts all across the United States.

Our dedicated staff is made up of professional photographers certified in photography, as well as present and former school music educators. This unique blend of experience gives us a deep understanding of both photography and the special world of student performances.
Meet Our Owner & President
Marc Anderson
Marc graduated with a B.F.A. from Rochester Institute of Technology’s College of Imaging Arts and Sciences in 2002. He has worked as a Photographer and Professional Retoucher in the advertising industry in NYC for over 20 years. His attention to detail and technical expertise ensure a demanding level of quality in every aspect of the Musical Memories workflow and final products.
